Fixtures commence for the 2019 season on 2 March with some field changes from previous years. A new map can be found below.
Junior fixtures for 2019 commence on Saturday 2 March with most matches being played at Norbridge Park, which, for the newly initiated, is located in an area called the Common off Lakes Creek Road in North Rockhampton, down past Callaghan Park and the Touch Fields (Cyril Connell Fields).
Competitive level teams (U12-U16) will have the least number of changes and will play on the top 4 fields with some adjustments to times (see below). However the U6 and U7s will be the only MiniRoos teams to play on the lower side of the park with all other age groups accommodated as per the schedule below. Please note draws for all age groups can be located at the FCQ website under Competitions, Fixtures and Results.
Some field changes
There’s some fields that remain the same but major changes in relation to others.
Here’s the set-up:
Field 1 – U12s (same as last year)
Field 2 – U13s (same as last year)
Field 3 – U8s and U9s; U14s from 10.30am onward
Field 4 – U16s (mainly used for U14s last year)
Fields 5A,B,C,D – U6s & U7s
Fields 6A & 6B – U11s and U10s
Field 3 will be split into 4 smaller fields (A,B,C,D) for the MiniRoos matches. These will be marked in BLUE.
Field 3 will be marked in BLACK as the larger field for the U14s.
