FOR BEGINNERS
Whilst working at Football Brisbane, FQ’s newly appointed Female Participation Officer Kerry Hammersley helped develop FUNdamentals, a fantastic resource for beginner coaches working with all ages from U6 to U12. The guide contains clearly written session plans for each group and includes simple to follow explanations that would benefit any level of coach. All this is supported by the use of QR-code linked videos where the sessions can be seen being put into practice. A terrific resource for any club to provide to its coaches.

YOUTH PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
FIFA has some fantastic resources available to access from its website although you do have to spend some time looking. Here is a link to some Grassroots Guides for players and officials: http://grassroots.fifa.com/en/for-coach-educators/organisation-of-grassroots-events/the-grassroots-football-session/training-sessions.html. There’s also plenty to download, with the following Youth Football Guide a good example. Download from here: Youth Football Guide
